Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a quote, booking an appointment, or using the services of A.I.R. Appliance Installation and Repairs ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Service Agreements

When you book an installation or repair service with us, you are entering into a service agreement based on the details discussed at the time of booking, including the appliance, scope of work, and any estimate provided. Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may be adjusted if the technician discovers additional issues once work begins, with your approval before extra charges apply.

3. Scheduling and Access

You agree to provide reasonable access to the appliance and service area at the scheduled appointment time. If our technician is unable to access the appliance or complete the job due to circumstances outside our control, a rescheduling or trip fee may apply.

4. Warranty Terms

We provide a warranty on parts and labour for installation and repair work performed, the length of which will be confirmed at the time of service. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship and parts we supply, but does not cover damage caused by misuse, unrelated mechanical failure, power surges, acts of nature, or modifications made by third parties after our service. Manufacturer warranties on appliances themselves remain subject to the manufacturer's own terms.

5. Payment Policies

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods communicated to you at the time of booking. Quoted prices are valid for the appliance and issue described; additional parts or labour required beyond the original scope will be communicated and approved before being added to the invoice. Late or declined payments may be subject to additional collection costs.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We ask that you notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a scheduling fee for future bookings.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take great care in performing our work, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by faulty wiring, plumbing, or structural issues unrelated to our service, or for appliances that are beyond reasonable repair. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

8. Use of Our Website

Our website and its content are provided for the purpose of learning about and booking our services. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to access it in an unauthorized way, or use it to submit false or misleading information.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, pricing structures, or for legal reasons. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
